Friday Fab 5s: Friday ww July 2023

Well, well, well it’s weekend eve! We got here! So, with a celebratory mocktail in my hand as I light the fuse on the Catherine wheels, I ask you the most important question of the week……..

WHAT 5 (more or less) FAB THINGS HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE LAST WEEK?

It’s unlikely (but not impossible) that we’ll hear from Carlos Acaraz about his Wimbledon win over Djokovic, but it’s just as important to hear from you all about the smaller, but no less amazing moments that have brought you joy.

Please remember, absolutely NO negativity as it WILL be removed.

    And here’s mine to start:

    - an overnight visit from my lovely mum with takeaway evening with my girls
    - having cake at my daughter’s to celebrate her boyfriend’s birthday
    - having cake at my brother’s to celebrate his birthday (definitely a theme to last weekend )
    - managing to get to a church meeting I really wanted to attend - despite not feeling great
    - acupuncture, what a blessing that is!

    Your turn!
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

    - we've booked a stunning little cottage for a week away after the wedding - dark skies, fairly remote, and only an hour away from the village my grandad came from!
    - holiday with the kids is all paid for
    - treating the rain as a practice run for Cumbria!
    - revisiting my favourite book series
