It's a proper village. You can walk from end to the other in around 5 minutes. There is only 1 street off Main Street on both sides at J's end of the village and then it's open countryside. There's a church, village shop with a post office counter, primary school, village hall and a pub and at the last census, there were less than 1400 people living there! It's very peaceful and people in the street say hello. I love it!
