Part of me is thinking bloody hell! It never rains but it pours! But the other part is relieved they have a potential solution for you.

Crossing everything that it doesn't kickstart the CPRS elsewhere!

I am really struggling to cope with the exhaustion right now. I’m sleeping so many hours of the day and today I was driving home and didn’t feel safe. Frustrated with the doctors yesterday - letter from endocrinologist states that I need calcium checking monthly, and that GP should manage that and my thyroid - which is obviously low. I rang for an appointment to get bloods form done. They put me in triage then I got a text saying I’ve got an appointment on 8 August. So, I ring up again - best they can do is appointment with pharmacist on 22 July. She then said, if symptoms continue, to ring for triage again or ring 111…….

Sorry for the whinge. Love you too xxx

Exhaustion is my biggest issue with RA. I can handle the pain but the fatigue is something else so I completely sympathise. I can see why you're frustrated too. You've been dealing with it for so long now.

Any news on the parathyroid scan?

I’ve had my bone scan through today. Not heard about the parathyroid or the kidney yet

I have GOOD news, health wise, for a change. The eye doctor tells me my eyes are the least swollen he’s ever seen them! And he says it’s 100% due to my losing a stone and a half . Chuffed doesn’t even cover it

Absolutely brilliant news Paula. And congratulations on the huge weight loss. Even a pound is harder to loose as we age.
