Friday Fab 5s: Friday 22 December

It’s FRIDAY, officially the granddaddy day of them all, and, according to Greatest Hits Radio, the start of the Christmas Party Weekend!

Which means, I get to ask THE most important question of your week *pauses for a much needed breath*

WHAT 5 (ish) AWESOME THINGS HAVE HAPPENED IN YOUR LIFE IN THE LAST WEEK?

It could be ‘freewheeled down the length of the Nile’ though ‘rode my bike without stabilisers’ is just as exciting!

Please remember, strictly NO negatives, these WILL be removed, no second chances

    Mine to get things going:

    - fantastic Strictly final (the best to date IMHO)
    - won a meal at our local pub - it was de-licious
    - I’ve been out every day this week (get me, a social life!)
    - talked wedding things with my daughter (and, no, I won’t apologise for bringing weddings up every week from now til the big day )
    - I got 90% on my first marked assignment for my degree
    - my amazing best friend bought me the most beautiful picture for Christmas, which looks just like my dogs - Jax and Demi

    Your turn!
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

~ Xmas drinks with mates this afternoon and it looks like a few are actually coming out.
~ Negative - no Black Forest hot choc at costa yesterday. Positive - I tried a terrys choc orange one instead
~ My PIP has been paid a week early. Merry Christmas to me.
~ Making plans for a Eurovision party next year.

Switching off the alarm this morning. The best thing of the week! Sorta.
School is finished for 2023. Aisling was one of only two people in her year to get a prize at the prize giving.
I got my presents delivered quite early. Some on Tuesday, some on Thursday and a last one today.
My dad has gotten some of his personality back! (Honestly this is brilliant)
I've been taking things at MY pace this year. If things get done they get done. If they don't don't, they don't.
