    Friday Fab 5s: Friday 1 December 2023

It’s fristy, frosty, the season of parties, and chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And, most importantly, it’s FRIDAY! Which means I get to ask you the most important question of the week *fizzes in excitement*:

WHAT 5 (or thereabouts) MOMENTS DURING THE PAST WEEK HAVE CAUSED JOY AND/OR HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE?

You know the drill, it doesn’t have to be ‘flew to the moon with Wallace & Gromit’, ‘munched my way through a cheeses board’ is just as much fun!

Please remember, strictly NO NEGATIVES as these will be removed.

Mine to get the juices flowing:

    - my Christmas tree is UP
    - finished my Christmas shopping
    - handed in my 2nd assignment (a week early!)
    - huge support from DWD mod teams
    - lunch with my best friend
    - (did I mention, chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner )

    Ok, your turn!

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

    - nailed my interview! Starting next month, I will be a trainee psychotherapeutic counsellor!
    - tree is up! Not decorated yet but the kids will do that when they're home from school
    - I have an advent calendar! Not had one in years!
    - got some cracking books for my birthday, already halfway through the 3rd one
    - J's hand got stuck yesterday, Parkinson's! The gift that keeps on giving! Except his hand was in A's armpit at the time. And then started tremoring which was tickling her. They could hardly talk through laughing. It was hilarious!!! I'm never going to heaven!
