It seems that the doctors have figured out what’s causing Fern’s problems. It seems to be an extreme reaction to infection which they are now able to treat with medication, and Fern seems to be responding well

Had a great update from Marc. Fern is improving well and the doctors are hoping to get them back to their ‘home’ hospital soon.

I was only thinking about them the other day and was going to ask if there were any updates but the forum was down at the time. Really glad things are moving in the right direction.
