Recently, Fern seemed to be making progress and Marc had been hoping they could go home for a couple of hours over the weekend. Unfortunately, they’ve deteriorated a little bit with sickness and heart rate/BP a little unstable.
Marc, I know I speak for us all in hoping Fern picks up again - they’re strong and have a solid record of bouncing back

Unfortunately Fern has had a bit of a setback and is back in ICU. I know you’ll all join me in sending Marc, Fern, Ben and Hazel our love and prayers that they recover quickly

Has that family not been through enough already this year? I really do hope that Fern can get through this quickly and my heart goes out to Marc Haz and Ben.

Update for you all. Fern was transferred to St Thomas’s but since then has made good progress. They’re hoping Fern will be able to be transferred back to their local hospital soon.
