    Friday Fab 5s: Friday 24 November 2023

    It’s FRIDAY! And *hands up* who is hoping to put the Christmas tree up this weekend? (subject to getting the request past my hubby…..). And, as it is FRIDAY, I have the privilege of asking each and every one of you a HUGE question *cue Joy to the World blasting from whatever device is nearest to you*

    WHAT 5 MOMENTS IN THE PAST WEEK HAVE GIVEN YOU A FEELING OF JOY AND/OR PEACE

    It doesn’t have to be ‘had dinner with my favourite film star’, ‘watched my favourite film they made’ is just as joyous.

    Please, please remember NO NEGATIVES as they will swiftly be pounced on and deleted, never to return.

    Here’s mine to get this started:

    - saw my Goddaughter for her 21st birthday (she’s an incredible young woman)
    - managed to get to church, even though I was anxious
    - caught up with a very lovely friend who has the ability to always make those around her feel amazing
    - got the first draft of my assignment done
    - learning new skills to help me with my assignment

    - I think my interview went well! Minimal anxiety too!
    - you know those jeans you keep "just in case" you can get back in to them? Well... I got back in to them and I have room to spare! They fit better than they did 10 years ago!
    - fab birthday - I got some amazing gifts

    - managed walks with Katie
    - kept my commitment Tuesday evening
    - helped daughter pick up a new(used) table and chairs and moved it to her flat
    - did the food shop alone
    - getting a bit more sorted for Christmas

    ~ Christmas shopping done for my sisters family apart from a few handmade gifts.
    ~ Had a day with minimal stress which is much appreciated.
    ~ Bought thermal socks to keep me toes warm when watching the footy.
    ~ Revisiting the Harry Potter movies in order.
    ~ chilling out with diamond art and podcasts. The perfect distraction.
