I'm ok. I'm sleeping better which always helps. Keeping busy helps me too. Because I'm sleeping better, I have more energy to keep busy so it all helps.

Ok, any update from your team?
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

    Morning all.
We were off for a few weeks touring Scotland in our newly converted campervan. It was such a mad scramble at the end to get it finished on time but we did it!!

We had a lovely break and took my daughter with us.
I'm glad to be home and try and get back to routine. I was supposed to be starting back to therapy today after a couple of months break but my psychologist is off sick for a while so I'm not sure when that will happen but for now I'm keeping going.
I had plans for today but have to take mil to a hospital appointment so all put on hold til tomorrow.
Also, its pouring here.... how am I supposed to get all the holiday laundry dry

Thank you Paula. Io is doing ok.
I'm not sure we will take her away with us again for such a long time.... maybe a long weekend. The holiday was lovely but not restful for A and I as we were constantly looking out for Io. A said it was like being away with a preteen. We are talking about a little break just the 2 of us if we can fit it in.

Until Cornwall in January for my birthday, Si and I hadn’t been on holiday with the kids since Jess was 15. I know there’s extra care needed with Io but it’s ok not to want to go on holiday with your adult kids
