    Mike's latest musings

First off got a message from Paula replied but inbox full (such a popular lady).

After lunch club at the Guild Hall closed earlier this year another club has been started at local church on Monday's and Tuesday's each week at what is called The Grapevine Cafe. Kathleen daughter in law of Iris a spritely 93 year old arranged for us to have our weekly meal there every Tuesday and play dominoes a three course fo a fiver who could say no

On Friday there's a coffee morning in the local park this was arranged by the council by the health and improvement team nice to have good natter and if you are over 70 it is half price because of some funding which has been found probably a few quid got lost down the side of the sofa .

Anyone who follows me on FB will seen I've had problem with my lawnmower

A little bird tells me a certain young lady got married in my absence, I think she only got married because she loves Toby the cat

    Well that's me finished updating.

Mike, so lovely to hear from you. Delighted you have a new lunch club. Sounds brilliant. It's great to get out and have a natter.

Tuesday lunch at the church was homemade potato and leek soup, mince beef and onion pie with mixed veg and mash and for pud lemon meringue pie all for a fiver.

Today went to a local chemist and had my covid and flu jabs, covid in the left arm no problems flu in the right leaving me with an aching right arm.

Had lunch of gammon and egg at the Boundary Stone barmaid asked me if I wanted pineapple? No only weirdos have pineapple give me egg did some shopping at the Coop not done much since I got home apart from chill.
