Thread: New job!

    New job!

So, I was kinda going it alone with dog walking etc but 4 months in and realising how solitary it is, how much I miss working around people and how I miss the veterinary environment too. I start back at a veterinary practice I previously worked 5 years at, before having my little ones. I start back on 9th Oct. I think this will be such a good step for me! I'm excited

Hey lovely, how’s the new job going?

That's great nothing like making our furry pals better to raise ones spirits.

Hi guys. Job is going good, thanks. Little ones are finding it difficult though....as it's full time and it's a pretty long day for them. They say they miss me and just want to spend time with me. I might ask to go part time

Is that what is best for all of you? That includes you? The munchkins will have gotten used to having you around more previously but I’m sure they will get used to your new hours too, kids are adaptable like that, and I’m sure the full time money will make things more comfortable.

How long have you had this job? Is it worth giving it a little longer to see how things go? I’d imagine your employer recruited a full time because they need full time - just be careful about asking for changes this soon after starting with them
