Sounds just what the doctor ordered
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

My self care for the day is getting Si to get the big fan out of storage and plonking myself in front of it!

I'm not sure yet about today. I'm heading out with A so I'll have to see what happens. We have errands to run.

I just ate a whole platter of fruit, so I’m claiming that as my self care for the day

I take it you didn’t manage this? If not, so sorry, love….. did you manage other ways to self care yesterday?

I’m working this morning, then got a blood test, so this afternoon is going to involve napping and reading my book (biography of Jane Austen by Lucy Worsley - as recommended by Jaq)

After a night with no sleep and a blood test this morning, I’m gonna stick myself in the recliner with the fan on full blast eating my body weight in fruit.
