    1. My sister’s grave. She was still born with spina bifida. My mum nearly died giving birth to her. Despite all this, we love her and my family has never forgotten that she is part of our family.

    2. A Love letter my grandad wrote to my gran when he was a prisoner of war in Burma, in awful conditions, starving and mistreated.

    3. I spent 9 months stitching this picture (every day) of my parents on their wedding day for their Ruby Wedding Anniversary - in the middle of possibly the biggest MH crisis I’ve ever had. It was 70,000 stitches in total and I still don’t know how I managed it!
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

My best buddy. I was reluctant to take this little lady on at first through fear of letting her and her former owners down. Now I’d be lost without her. I love this old girl so much

I don’t have much to be proud of but being able to say I was a part of the team making a major sporting event happen is something I hope will make my kids proud of me.

The only thing I wanted when my mum passed. A certificate from the News of the World she got for hitting a 180 in the local darts league. It was 1958, and believe me scoring a maximum well these big brass barrels back in the day was quite an achievement. I I’d t know when I took up the sport that my mum used to play. One of the few things we had in common.

Oof! This is a tough one.

    1. Being part of the volunteer team at the Rugby League World Cup.
    2. Represented Worcestershire County Darts Team.
    3. Fought hard for the people I care about, both family and friends, and although the outcome hasn’t always been positive I keep trying cos I refuse to give up on them.
