I'm glad you have an appointment coming up.

Can I ask how much you are drinking - what and how much?

OK, on a typical week how much?
Do you drink alone or socially?

It doesn't matter. It's not enough that it's a problem, I know that much

But it could be an issue. If you're taking sertraline - an anti depressant then you are adding alcohol which is a depressant it's not a good mix, that's all I'm saying. A couple of drinks every now and then is one thing, but more than that etc could be an issue and could also help if you are mood tracking and see dips...

I enjoy a few beers too and yeah I will binge on a night out or watching sporting events. It’s not ideal but everyone needs a blowout once in a while. Recently it was recognised here that I was drinking more and like yourself I don’t consider myself as having a problem so I have made a conscious effort to reduce what I drink again. If is easy for thinks to get away from you especially when alcohol becomes a coping mechanism. I’m trying to be more observant of my mood before drinking. If I’m not in a good place mentally I know it’s best not to drink because I am more likely to drink too much plus it’s counter productive.
