    Musicals

As anyone who knows me knows I love musicals and I've passed this love onto Hazel. In conversation with Stella today Hazel said she'd write a quick list of some of her favourites to share with you all...

So here's the list: So, how many have you heard of or seen? (Obviously there are loads more, but these are her favs!)

    Hamilton
    Something Rotten
    Be more chill
    Everybody's talking about Jamie
    Mean Girls
    Dear Evan Hansen
    Rent
    Beetlejuice
    Kinky Boots
    Waitress
    21 Chump Street
    Frozen Broadway
    Aladdin Broadway
    Newsies
    Hadestown
Do a little of something that makes you happy every day!

Decent list there and I’ll only seen maybe around half of those. I will check out the others for sure and let her know what I think. Tell Haz thanks from me.

    Spamalot (holy grail musical)
He's not the messiah hes a naughty boy (life of brian musical)
    Wicked
    War of the Worlds
Theres something about Dick (look for it on netflix, has eddie izzard, tim currie, billy connolly to name a few of the stars) very tongue in cheek and risque
    Adams Family

I love the theatre.... especially musicals but very few big productions come here.
    Live I have seen
    Les Mis
    Joseph
    Wicked
    Ghost
But I love watching them on telly too.
I actually still love nothing more than an old fashioned MGM musical movie. They very rarely show them on TV now but they were my childhood escape and I still love them. Fred Astaire, Bing Cosby, Gene Kelly, Ginger Rogers, Doris Day, Judy Garland..... think I was born in the wrong era!!

I love all that stuff too. The choreography in some of those old movies is amazing.

I loved theatre. Last thing I saw was matilda with my Dd about 2 years ago. We absolutely loved it. She was 9 at the time and loved the big theatre experience. I've taken her to cinderella ballet and was amazing.
When we were students dh (then boyfriend) and I would go to the West end on the day of a show and try to get cheap last minute student tickets. We saw les mis, lion King, blood brothers and a couple of plays that didn't have a big impact on me because I don't remember theirs names.
I also seen West Side story, dirty dancing, wicked, singing in the rain, little shop of horrors, fame, grease, wizard of oz, sister act. I'm sure there are more but I can't remember now. I would love to see fidler on the roof, lion King again with Dd.
