We're home again after a successful trip. I really enjoyed my time to myself. But of course, I was looking for stuff for the school doors while I was on my own!!
I sat in a coffee shop in the middle of the shopping center and I didn't take out my phone. I just sat and people watched. It was lovely to have a half an hour just to sit and stare.
The girls got on great too. The went up on the ferris wheel and did a bit of shopping. They asked me to meet them at the music shop, but I made them make their own way back to the car. I just told them to make their way back to the market and then to the car. If they always have an adult, they'll never learn.

Of course you were looking I would have been suprised if you didnt. Did you find something or maybe had an idea?

I love doing that. Having a nice cup of tea and looking at the people passing by. Think about what they might be doing. Or looking at how they are dressed.

Hoe lovely that the girls got along that way. Sounds like a day well spend.

I'm going to sign out for the evening. I'm getting stuck into my knitting. See you tomorrow.

I'm knitting another Michael D. Higgins tea cosy. Aisling's head of year was at the knitting and stitching show, and said she wanted one, but doesn't know how to knit.
I've been cutting out between catching up on housework, doing laundry and dishes. Nearly there for Friday, just the twigs (arms) to do and then bag up.

I fell asleep on the couch this morning and I've only woken up (about 11.30). My phone ringing woke me. I had an idea that I was going to do so much this morning! Not to worry, I must have needed a nap.
The weather is wet, cold and miserable today. I'm hoping to get a walk in later. I'll snuggle up with my winter coat and have a warm shower when I get home. Then I'll get into my Jim jams and relax for the evening.
