Cool Friday Fab 5's: Friday 11th October 2019

    Woohoo! 'Tis Friday!
So, in the age old DWD fashion, I ask you the most important question you will be asked today.... *pauses for drum roll and dramatic effect*......

What 5 (or more or fewer) things have been positive for you or made you smile this week?

Remember, they don't have to be "climbed mount Kilimanjaro on my hands and a unicycle" but they can be, "sat in the sun drinking a cup of tea" or "got up every day this week" etc

Also remember - NO NEGATIVITY or it will be removed.

    Mine to get you started:

~ The awesome mod team both here and on the FB page
~ Seeing my girls in the house drama competition last night
~ Exercise - I know, who'd have thought it? Parkrun last Saturday and swimming yesterday
~ My lovely builders who are doing my bathroom
~ B sounding happy and settled at uni

    Your turn!
    Just call me Goose....

    - really good driving lesson going even further out of my comfort zone!
    - loving my course! I got excellent feedback from both my group and the tutor for my skills practise and when I told J, he said he thinks I've found my calling. I'm inclined to agree!
    - lovely day out with J for his birthday
    - I did good with his birthday presents too! Loved his reaction to what I bought
    - love, support and encouragement from here as always

    - My crochet hook, don't know where I'd be without it
    - swimming, I'm building up my lengths rightly.
    - daughter's surgery finally done and dusted. No more waiting. She is recovering well.

I'm slowly coming back to life despite the difficulties I've been facing so far.

    A good time with cats.

Today I've bought a nice red peignoir for myself.

I spent some time in a cafe with my friend.

    Support here...

And my man (although for now just more as a friend, but his support and smile makes evreything lighter)...

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.
