    How are you today, lovely?
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

It's awful my ex husband managed to secure debt on the house before we got divorced. The solicitors who the debt has been passed to are taking me to court to force sale of my home . I have spent the morning on the phone to solicitors who don't want to support me and last resort I rang the debt solicitor. So I am going to be left to pay yet another of his debts or loose my home. I was awarded the house but can't get the deeds in my name until this debt is cleared. I have spent the last ten years being chased by creditors for debt. He left me with thousands of pounds to pay back and I was very nearly there.....just a couple of hundred and now this. It was all part of his financial abuse. I wouldn't mind at one point I was so low I considered some really dark options . I am not sure if counselling helped or not at that time. It's another crushing blow dealt by the ex husband.

Oh hunni, I’m so sorry. Have you contacted Citizens Advice or Shelter who have lots of advice and helplines to avoid repossession https://england.shelter.org.uk/housi..._repossession?

I just feel really really sad and defeated. My heads a mess .

The only way is to pay . I know that's what cab will say otherwise the courts are legally allowed to sell the property. It hurts like hell as this was my parents home , my childhood and present home and the home for my two boys when I am no longer here.
