    Friday Fab 5's: Friday 23rd August 2019

It's Friday! The end of the week, the beginning of the weekend, the last Friday this month - however you choose to look at it it's here! That means it's time for the Fab 5's!

What 5 (or more, or fewer) things have made you smile or been positive for you this week?

No negativity please, or it will be removed
Remember - this isn't about scaling physical mountains necessarily, it's about those victories which are yours.

    Mine to get you started:

~ Spending lots of time with my babies
~ Help, support, friendship and videos
~ Making myself a gratitude/self care journal making me focus on me
~ Making better choices for myself
~ Having a special harness made for Willow to alert people that she is blind and scared, but also to provide more support (like a hug) when we go out!

    Your turn!
    Just call me Goose....

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

A brilliant day out in Tayto park. And I didn't panic when we got lost, twice.
A day full of belly laughs with my new teenager.
Mum and dad celebrating a wonderful wedding anniversary.
A brilliant compliment from a very unexpected source.
The fact that I can open up here and the support when I do. Thanks everyone.

Survived a very busy week and we have won more work with a certain large company.
Weeks variety - Kfc building, press hall, Bus depot and held my first meeting with members of the practice who want to be involved in the Accessabilty and inclusivity design forum I am heading up.
Physio went ok and the massage therapy was helpful at the end of the session
Have now got my wobble cushion for work to sit on for a few hours a day (work paid for it) to try and help slowly strengthen my trunk muscles and those that link to my spine
    Long weekend!!!!!!
New team admin at work is nice and friendly
Lunch out with L in Nottingham when there for day due to physio

    • Catch up with sis they didn't rate the leaning Tower of Pisa it was jam packed around there and if you wanted to walk up it you had to pay 10 Euro's each for a timed slot so the didn't bother, they went for a walk round the town of Pisa instead and it was a lovely place and wasn't in the least bit crowded. Latest they are back in France now and heading north/northwest.
    • Lunches out.
    • Got my side flowerbad cultivated ready for planting though cats have decide that the soft soil is ideal for a poop station
    • Lunch Club stayed for dominoes despite a swollen mozzie bitten hand.
    • Hand back to normal, yipee.
