The house looks great. As a bonus our bins and footpath have never been cleaner. I have discovered though, that most of my windows and my front and back door, all leak, badly! However, it's a small price to pay.

Power washing will find the slightest leak so probably not worth bothering about, I mean the leaks as under normal conditions it'd be okay.

Oh no! Can you fix the windows with putty or something?

I agree with Mike. If it does not leak when it rains etc its nothing to worry about. Not right away anyway. In time maybe.

Suzi, our window frames are pvc, and as far as I know it's just the seals that need replacing. When that might had is anyone's guess.

I have no idea, I know our old ones were very dodgy in places! The advice from the repair guys was stick some sealer over the draughts....

Hi all. I'll be going shortly to get my hair cut. It's at the stage where it's driving me crazy.
    Talk again later.

Does anyone have a cure for restless legs? It was after 1.30 when I got to sleep last night with it in my operated leg.

Tonic water! It's the quinine in it!

^^^^^^ what Suzi said. It's disgusting, but it helps. Also trying to have them elevated above hip level for a while before you go to bed can help.
