Apparently there was a fault on the cable between two telegraph poles they've placed a access cover over a chamber they've installed in the pavement next to the pole and it's all sorted now *fingers crossed*

Very poor cards at bridge the opposition slaughtered us, but the saving grace was there was cake at half time

PS. Listened to Josh Groban again this time without the accompaniment of stone cutters and lump hammers, beautiful

Thank you, it's true I am always right. I have a certificate to prove it!

OOO Mike, what are they actually meant to be doing?
Still not convinced, it’s a very loose link. However, loose and tenuous are interchangeable so I’ll let it slide ......

And it wouldn’t be the first time someone was issued a certificate or given an award, in error *cough* La La Land

Yup I agree Paula very loose and tenuous to the point of being non-existent

Got two videos lined up for tomorrow which to choose, one is very direct and amusing the other is more devious and gorgeous (though nowhere near as tenuous as Suzi's ) any thoughts

I like the sound of devious!
Please always remember that I am always right. I have a framed certificate to prove it.

When in doubt, stop and think... WWSS? (What Would Suzi Say?)
