    That is one of the thoughts depression gives me "everyone else seems to deal with life better and are much happier than me and no understands how I feel and why aren't I normal" which really isn't the case. On here you'll find people who really understand.

    I remember years ago when I was in a black cloud and I cancelled a lunch with a friend because I felt rotten. I explained to her about it and she said "you don't look the type that would be depressed"!.......I 'fake it to make it' a lot of the time. I think a lot of us do. Besides, what is normal? One thing I have learned is that EVERYONE has a skeleton in their cupboard and EVERYONE has issues and baggage. There are a lot of people too who are always bubbly and ready for anything. It could be that these people are like that because they have things they don't want to face. On this forum we're lucky enough to have each other and together we wade through the treacle when times get toughxx
