    Lightbulb Mindful Check In

It's easy to feel overwhelmed - especially at this time of year when there is so much pressure to put on the perfect Christmas, be the perfect host, get the perfect gift, arrange the perfect Christmas Day etc etc
I learnt to do a mindfulness check in during my courses and it's become an activity that I rely on and use all the time. It is, like all things something that only becomes automatic when you've practised it when you don't "need" it. I use it when I feel that things are getting away from me - if my mind is not focussing, if it's wandering where I don't want it to go, when things around me are really busy etc I use it now so much that I don't even know consciously that I'm doing it until I can feel myself becoming more "centered" and "settled."

Thought it was worth putting here to see if you wanted to try it.

Do a little of something that makes you happy every day!
