    Cool Friday Fab 5's: Friday 13th July 2018

    It's Friday and so is fine for the fab 5s!

    For those of you who haven't done a Fab 5s challenge yet the rules are easy. It's about finding 5 (or more, or fewer) things that have made you smile or been positive for you this week. They doubt have to be things like climbed a mountain or swam the Pacific ocean lol, but maybe getting up each day or eating each day are just as important and deserve to be celebrated.
    NO negativity allowed.

    Mind to get you started:

    - My sweet peas are growing so beautifully
    - The most amazing love and friendship from the members here.
    - Getting to spend some 1:1 time with each of my babies
    - Spending a couple of hours proper quality time with my husband
    - Seeing our middle one all set and ready for a long weekend in France

    Your turn...
    Today I aim to be the best person I can be.
    That mean that yesterday or tomorrow I might be a better person,
    but today's best is more than good enough for today.

    You're up early suzi! ....
    . Lovely watching the sun rise and listening to the birds every morning during this nice weather.
    . Speaking to my grandchildren who are excited to be seeing their Nanna & Granddad next Wednesday.
    . Grateful that we could give Seth a happy few days here in our sleepy village.
    . Happy that I'm well and able to do the things I want to do.
    . Enjoying the tennis.

    *saunters in at 9:30 am* (bah you early birds )

    • Nice chat with my sister on Tuesday over the phone on her and hubby's return to the UK.
    • Lunches out and walks.
    • Sitting at on my favourite bench overlooking Old Warke Dam at the swirl hole end.
    • Custard Club with fudge pies
    • Bridge on Thursday followed by coffee at B & A's.
    71 and counting, less of the "Old" call me "Mike"

    I didn't give this a go last week, but I'm back again.
    The love of friends and family. Never underestimate how important it is.
    Being kind to someone. Yes it was only letting them go ahead of me in the supermarket, but when you have a screaming toddler it can make a huge difference. It put a smile on my face anyway.
    Understanding from others. Yes I had a dreadful week, but no one said I shouldn't be feeling the way I am.
    Down a half a pound. Happy that I'm down at all.
    The love and support from here. You all helped this week in ways that you don't know.

    Yes Flo, really early start this morning as Hazel had to be at school for 5am ready to go to Brittany - she gets home 11pm Monday!

    - Polo almost back to full strength after a tough week for him
    - my most amazing husband who stayed up for several nights in a row to take care of the dogs
    - the strength of our marriage
    - jess did much better in her end of year exams than anyone expected
    Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.
