There is a liquid called ivomec. Also stuff called stronghold is used for poultry here. Those things kill everything inside and outside the bird, just be very very careful with dosing. Ash, and powder called drymaxx are used for lice and ticks, put it where your birds take dust baths. There is also a spray for lice, colombine spray. Hope this helps you abit Flo. I am happy you have birds of your own!

I am doing quite fine, and my birds keep me going even when I feel like poop.

Do you have any plans for the weekend?

We plan to cook with friends, and my dad is visiting. On Sunday I go riding with another friend, and the kids have fall break from school whole coming week. We probably work on henhouse some more. Final touches and cleaning up around it

Thanks for that Sissy. You've been very helpful. Your birds are seriously lucky to have you as their mum!....they're very entertaining aren't they? I look forward to seeing photo's of the coop etc., when it's complete. Truly a des. res.!! Have a good day love.

Thanks Flo... That means alot. I took a full bucket of ash from fireplace to henhouse, my girls were bathing in it for hours. If you have a fireplace, or any of your friends or neighbours has, take the ashes to your Ladies. They will appreciate!
