Thread: School shooting. AGAIN!!

  1. #11
Awful times Maggie I hope that our gun laws has so.e sort of effect. Although if I wanted to get a gun I can walk I to any pub in the Eastend and buy one.
If someone is hell bent on shooting then they will do it and nothing will stop them.

They look at me and think I'm cool, I'm purplefan at night I rule.

My kids have had "lockdown" drills too... It's horrible to think about...

    It is just awful.
I wasn’t sure how I felt about this earlier as it does seem wrong that tragedies such as this are being downplayed by a wedding. But I’ve thought about it and having read some of the news articles and watched the wedding, I honestly think that we are all so very tired of death, sickness and evil that it’s comforting to see a couple very much in love share their special day with the rest of the world. For me, it was a wonderful change from all the horror.

I agree, maybe the light should be shone more heavily on the good rather than the constant horror... Maybe we need to see humans doing something positive....

Matthew Miller partner at Vianovo, MSNBC Justice & Security Analyst, recovering flack from DOJ, DSCC, and too many campaigns to count, who is a supporter of the NRA tweeted this on 20 May.

    Things responsible for school shootings:

    Ritalin
    Video games
    Too many doors
    Not enough walls
    Walls that are too thin
    Mean girls
    Bad parents
    The liberal media
    Not enough police officers
    Ineffective police officers
    Not enough guns

    Things not responsible:

    Too many guns
