    Friday Fab 5's: Friday 11th May 2018

    Morning everyone!

    So it's Friday. We've made it to the end of the week! So it's time for the Friday Fab 5 challenge.

    For those who have never taken part before, those who regularly participate and those who are unsure come and have a go!

    Remember:

    • each point will be celebrated
    • they don't have to be things like "swam the pacific without stopping" but "I ate breakfast each day" is just as important
    • Things that have been positive TO YOU

    Mine to get you started:

    ~ Seeing how close my children are. They may fight at home, but when it's needed they've got each other's back. You upset one, you upset them all.
    ~ Herb planter!
    ~ The fun and laughter that the latest quizzes have bought here and in my home
    ~ F's creativity
    ~ My neighbours

    Your turn!

    Bought an electric guitar with the intention of learning to play. As mid life crises go it’s cheaper that a sports car or plastic surgery
    Downloaded The Greatest Showman to my phone so can watch it wherever I go
    Lamb for dinner last night. So good.
    Loving the enthusiasm for the quiz again. Makes it all worthwhile when folk are having fun.
    Enjoyed getting out for a drive to Warwick on Tuesday.

    Rockets out of recycled materials. What else would you do with them?
    3 day school week!
    The weather was good enough to get out almost every day. I still have loads to do but it's already looking a lot better.
    There isn't enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do.
    I'm sleeping a lot better now. Probably because of the fresh air.

    My turn now.

    • A nice phone call from my sister and her hubby from Spain giving me an update on their European holiday.
    • Lunch at the Old Boat House and a walk back along the canal on Tuesday.
    • Lunch Club well attended and a liberal supply of custard.
    • Bridge, entertaining keeps the brain ticking over.
    • The shoots of a couple of my spud plants are now showing.
    • Reading Rooms by Emma Donoghue.
    • Fun with Stella's quiz and the light hearted banter on the quiz thread, thanks guys
    71 and counting, less of the "Old" call me "Mike"
    ~~~ Please check out the latest QUIZ (Fun and Games > Quiz) I'm sure you'll find it fun. ~~~
    Small pay rise
    Good review at work, some things to work on yes but it was positive
    Tonight will be our first D&D game after a 3 year break (as two members had babies to look after and so banned by their wives till now)
    I am going to be roleplaying a character which is a complete 180 degrees opposite of what I am in real life, will be hard but its going to be an interesting challenge and I am quite looking forward to it.
    -An awesome weekend with awesome friends.
    - Actually getting to spend the evening with Tom and his wife with no distractions. It was absolutely brilliant to get to sit with him and talk without him having to run off and do a million other things.
    - Feeling loved and completely accepted. They are the most awesome group of people and I feel very lucky to be so loved by them.
    - Lee Sharpe was very funny!!!
    - Seeing the love in that room for Tom and Cheryl after the year they've had was so moving and I felt very honoured to be a big part of that.
    - following tradition and sambuca shots with Steve and his fiance!!! One of our number was missing but I love being able to sit with them after the dinner and completely let my hair down.
    - making plans to get together later in the year!
    - Graham W. The guy is an absolute gent and didn't once complain about the messing around with collecting me from the station, made a point of dropping me off at the station this morning and is just an awesome, awesome man.
    - And last but not least and potentially the biggest one. I felt able to tell him about what happened last year. He was absolutely brilliant about it.
