I'm still reading Letters to my Daughters by Emma Hannigan. It's very good but I don't read enough at the moment. I was a great reader and I'm trying to get back to it. I'm just watching too much tv at the moment.

I don't have any plans for today. Maybe read some more of my book, feed Aisling and if the weather permits do some gardening.

That sounds like a great plan!
I'm reading "According to Yes!" by Dawn French. I love her books, but I'm cross with this one. The main character has done something which I just can't forgive her for and so I'm struggling to continue.... Sounds silly I know!

Have either of you read any Jo Brand books? They're hilarious! I used to be an avid reader but haven't read properly for ages. Sounds like you have a nice day planned magie. Enjoy yourself love.x

I finished my book. It was excellent, made all the sadder because the author has died of breast cancer in the last few weeks. Her acknowledgement at the back of the book was full of thanks for the doctors and nurses who had kept her alive up to that. So very sad and a big loss to her husband and teenage children. A great book and not her first so I'm now going to have a look for some of the others and read them too.

It's started to rain and I haven't got out into the garden yet. It may not amount to much so I might get there yet.

It was fine today so you'll probably have a dry day tomorrow.
Glad you had a productive day

Morning all. So much for the weather forecast! It's raining and I was hoping to get into the garden. It will have to wait for another day now as it looks like the rain is down for the day. Take care everyone.
