It didn't take as long to do the breakfast things today. It nearly drove me to distraction leaving them there until Aisling got around to doing them, but I persevered, and she eventually did them about 12 o'clock. It's her job for the rest of the summer to do those dishes. Then when we go out she'll have earned her treats.
I didn't do very much today. Changed the sheets on Aisling's bed and some laundry. We went up town for a while and that's it. I spent the afternoon reading. I also rang my sisters and my sister-in-law. I was talking for over an hour. It was good to catch up after the week we've had.

Glad you've had a bit of a more restful day lovely...
Today I aim to be the best person I can be.
That mean that yesterday or tomorrow I might be a better person,
but today's best is more than good enough for today.

Another Saturday, another trip to Galway. We got Aisling's tights and shirts for school, and that's the last of the things we need for September. We (well I) can relax now and not have to worry about anything else for the rest of the summer.
Called to see Gerry's dad and sister and they were both in good form. We actually called while they were having lunch so we waited until they were ready to have our chat. We came home afterwards and had lunch, and cleaned up.
The rain has arrived here. We had clothes on the line before we left for Galway so they had to go into the dryer. The rain is very much wanted, but I can't help but worry that we've seen the end of the sun!
