    I'm Back

Hi everyone. I've been thinking about opening a thread here for a while now, but I've been a little shy about doing it.
But here I am, in all my glory! A rough patch since Christmas led me to retreating into my shell in case I upset anyone. It was in my own head, but it was very real to me. As soon as I felt myself go down I got in contact with my GP and the mental health team. I had 3 crisis appointments with my case worker, and then had to change from her to my present one.

In the middle of the crisis my psycharist changed my antidepressant to Sertraline and that took almost 8 weeks to work, but I hung in there and it slowly began to work. I was also put onto the mood stabiliser seroquel.

I really took my time to come back here. Like I said I was afraid of how it would look. And the longer I stayed away the harder it was to come back. But here I am and it might be hard to get rid of me now!!

I am so proud of you for posting this! You are amazing. I know it's been really tough, but you really are flipping awesome. You are so loved and wanted.
Today I aim to be the best person I can be.
That mean that yesterday or tomorrow I might be a better person,
but today's best is more than good enough for today.

I know I'm not supposed to be online a lot but I was so tired this evening that I've been on Facebook almost since I came home. Now my eyes hurt too! Maybe I'll learn my lesson now.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.
