A little bit of good news

I got a txt in work today from my eldest son . He had been called in to the office in work for a meeting. The company who he has his apprenticeship with is looking to employ him in a few months. At this moment I am the happiest mum on this planet. I know for a fact that my son was worrying about finding a full time job after his apprenticeship finished. He had already started looking around the job market. He deserves this so much as he travelled miles to college for two years , whilst holding down a job, was never off sick and was chosen out of 21 candidates for the apprenticeship he is on now. I have to hand it to him he has worked hard. Can't you tell I am so happy ? When I have doubted myself so much over the years this shows I must have done something right with my kids. Honestly, I am a proud mum tonight.

That’s fantastic! Sounds like you’ve done a lot right
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.
