    He can but we have kids together. Obviously don't want my kids knowing I'm suffering and need help x

    It’s likely the 9 yo will know somethings up and may feel better if you’re able to explain things a little. I know my then 7 yo was much calmer once I’d explained my illness to her (age appropriate)

    My daughter had convinced herself I was dying...... just tell him the truth. You’ve got an illness that makes you very sad and tired but that you’re getting help and it’ll be ok
