    Lightbulb Do ADHD causes depression?

    Hi Everyone,

Would it be possible for a person who have ADHD could be depressed too?

    Thank you

Depression doesn’t discriminate. It can affect anyone at any time. Have you spoken to a doctor about it?

    Hi and welcome to DWD.
Stella is right, it's more than possible for that to be the case. Are you asking for yourself?

    Hi and welcome
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

I don't think ADHD and depression are mutually exclusive, you can suffer from one or the other or even both.

Hi everyone, you guys are okay, sorry I take too long to reply, been busy for awhile, my GP told me to do exercise as I am a bit above with a normal weight. So everything went fine now. I watch on youtube for exercise routines. and also I found these article on the net that explains ADHD and Depression: link removed as per DWD policy - we like to get to know our members before allowing links to other sites. I find it so helpful tho
