so perhaps someone can explain this:

when you search for new posts, how come sometimes it shows your posts, and sometimes it doesn't?

example: I just posted to 2 topics- ophelia's room and positive news thread

and when I search for new posts, it shows up that the latest post is the one I posted in ophelia's room, when actually it's the one I posted in positive news

sometimes, the posts you make won't show up at all, and sometimes when you log in, the new posts arn't actually new, they are just pages of posts that havon't been updated

so I don't really understand how it works (or rather, I know it's use, but not what it acts on when you search)

    can someone explain?

    thanks

Are you clicking on ‘What’s New?’ or ‘New Posts’?
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

Was going to ask the same as Paula..
Please always remember that I am always right. I have a framed certificate to prove it.

When in doubt, stop and think... WWSS? (What Would Suzi Say?)

It only brings up the new posts made by others, not you. Does that help? Although the latest responses you've made on threads will show up as "new posts" for others. Does that make sense?
