Back from bridge cards a bit haphazard but fun, was invited back to Andrew and Beverley's house for coffee (they used to live opposite me and have moved a short distance away), Andrew plays bridge at the club I go to.

That's I had to take Hazel to school for 5am this morning so my brain is more than slightly mush so this is about as good as I can muster today...

Thanks Suzi that's a classic, waddle, waddle and he walked away to the very next day

Rained over night stopped then it's started again, it's not raining hard and will hardly have had any effect on the garden, I'll probably have lunch out and take it from there.

Very little good has been done by the rain just before I set out for lunch went down the garden path with a hoe and the area where I'm going to set my meadow mix it's bone dry a half inch to an inch below the surface and it is similar where my 'tater patch is.

Donned my flat cap and stowed a bottle of water in my man bag and strode off down the loopline to the Boundary Stone had the cheap but tasty lunch club option of gammon, egg, chips and peas followed by apple pie and ice cream washed down with a Pepsi Max. Decided to buy a birthday card for my sister was going to go for a walk next but changed my mind as the birthday card stuck out the to of my man bag and I thought if it rains again I'll end up with a soggy card. So took the short but pretty route back home along the loopline.

What the modern man wears taken in my garden today, well every man needs a place for his knick-knacks.
