No bridge today (2 week break) I tried to persuade sis to go out for lunch with me today but she'd rather go to Zumba (unbelievable I know), so I'm off out for lunch I'll see where the wind or bus takes me.

Wow! Yes, Mike youíre right, I did play the Cello. That was beautiful! To me, no other instrument beats the cello

As for the flashmob - we didnít get much right in the 80s but the music was awesome!
Come on everybody, join in the QUIZ, I need the competition!

That was brilliant Suzi took me right back to when I was in my prime

Went too the Old Boat House, Astley Green (never been on a Thursday before) not many in and the service was quick. Had braised steak in Guiness gravy with mash and veg, for pud apple pie and a generous Mike-sized portion of custard and ended wit hot choc with cream and marshmallows.

It's been a glorious day with loads of sun sun is just starting to get hazy now, walked back along the canal (sitting on a couple of benches in the sun enroute ) to the Moorings then cut across to join the loopline and home.

Took a few pictures one of which maybe of interest to Paula (how mysterious) need to check my camera to see if any worth posting.

Hope you've all had a good day.

I wasn't a cellist, but I adore the sound and that video was amazing!

Just back from lunch but more of that later, a pic I took yesterday specially for you Paula

Paula down south people carpet their rooms and hallways but oop north we go the extra mile and carpet our driveways.

There's nothing like running bare foot down the hallway and through the front door and feeling that soft caress of a thick pile carpeted driveway. #carpeteddriveways

Hi Mike, how's things? I can believe carpeted driveways. When my brother was alive he kept his BMW in the garage and he had the floor specially treated to eliminate dust! Not only that but when he cleaned it he had an old toothbrush that he cleaned the spokes in the wheels with...and a colour coded pair of Marigolds!!
