Your washing machine is bleeping all mine does is go silent.

Have you got a slogan Flo like "Hear ye, hear ye, have ye seen the size of my bloomers, rolls and buns"

    Mike!

That sounds so exciting Flo! What things are you putting in the rolls etc?
Today I aim to be the best person I can be.
That mean that yesterday or tomorrow I might be a better person,
but today's best is more than good enough for today.

I'm off to a meeting soon. It will still be light when I drive home so it's a good opportunity. Had an early dinner. Not used to that! I'll let you know how I got on. Have a lovely evening all.xx

Hope the meeting went to plan
Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.

Morning all.....had quite a good meeting last night. I got there early, and came across a few people sitting on the ground outside the hall sunning themselves and introduced myself. There were about 9 people in all I think with varying degrees of sobriety. A first meeting in a different place is always the most difficult. People know nothing about you. As is usual in a meeting there's always the sad shares, but we're always able to laugh at ourselves. I was one of the last to share as it was close to 9pm, but next week they'll know more about me. I was talking to a very nice lady about my age and talk about a small world. She spends half her year here in Devon and the other half in Kyle of Lochalsh which is 70 miles from where I lived in Scotland!! Turned out we knew a lot of the same members! Anyway I'll look forward to the next meeting. I managed to get home before it was completely dark. That's the only problem I'm going to have I think. But it should be lighter next week until mid June. Ian was really happy that I went and could see that I had benefited from it. Today I'm meeting two of the OFC helpers for lunch over the road. It'll be good to catch up. I'll be back later. Have a good day.xx
