Spent a lot of time in the garden last evening sorting out an area at the end of my veggie plot near the fence, this morning done a little weeding as my garden is in the shade in the morning.

Sun a little hazy today though rather hot. I've some smoked salmon garnished with honey think that'll be what I'm on for lunch.

A quick update got an email from my sister in France listing the places they'd visited and the great time they were having and telling me to keep eating loads of puddings.

Glad they are having a good time!
Sounds very sensible doing the gardening in the shade!

France is a country i have always wanted to explore. Ha well, maybe one day.
What sort of veggies do you have in your garden Mike?

A popsicle stick makes a great bookmark. But eat the popsicle first. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Yesterday pottered in the garden in the morning, had lunch fell asleep. Woke up ground the mushroom heads (the end you hit with a hammer mushrooms over time and can be quite sharp) off some of my cold chisels. Had dinner fell asleep played Zelda and listened to Dire Straits, fell asleep, woke up then went to bed.

I do have an exciting life

Veggies currently growing are spuds, cabbages (which need transplanting), leeks which have only just sprouted. I've some spinach and salad green seeds to sow, had planned to do that last evening in the cool but fell asleep.

Having lunch out today probably at the Barton Arms.

So do the different veggies need different watering times or can you plant them all together and they would grow?
