    Cool Fab 5's: 18th November 2016

Can you believe it's Friday again already? So... It's time to share our FAB 5's!
    The rules are as always
    • Aim for 5, but no upper or lower limit. Each one is celebrated
    • No negativity allowed.

    Mine to get you started:

~ As ever, the amazing support that I have from my friends here.
~ My amazing Rector wanting to help and support Marc and I.
~ The pita and complete whirlwind which is Lola
~ My girls being brave enough to sing solos in the auditions for lead roles in the school musical
~ My wonderful H who is very maturely trying to help her friend through horribleness.

Wow. With how rubbish my last couple of weeks have been I didn't think I'd manage this today. I am so glad I've done it, because right now I can see that there have been positives no matter how bleak the other things have been...

    Your turn

    Suzi, you are awesome

    - visiting my poorly friend, and helping to make her laugh
    - coffee and birthday cake with my brother and his family
    - getting down to 5mg diazepam daily (from 15mg in August)
    - lovely chats with Jess
    - my bedroom being decorated
I believe if you wear enough pretty lipstick, sparkly jewellery and great shoes, no one will notice the size of your ass

Having a wonderful morning this morning with all the kids.
Organising a cleaner to come on Wednesday morning. Gulp someone strange around my house.
Sorting out a few more Christmas presents.
Aisling getting all her spellings and tables right this week. She worked hard on the ones she didn't know.
All the support from everyone here. My own private cheer leaders. Pom pom's waving and everything, for today.

    1) Went to Thanksgiving supper at Dad's Memory Care Center. They had a little band afterwards playing tunes from the 30s, 40s and 50s and it did my heart good to look over at him and see him singing along at times.
    2) Cleaned my car out.
    3) Got tickets to see Samantha Fish (blues woman kinda like Bonnie Raitt but is not as well known - yet) next month
    4) Work has calmed down, so less stress there
    5) Am starting to feel better after a few weeks of cold and sinus problems
    6) Thankful for all of you.

    1. Getting stuck into my reading again and being able to enjoy evenings by the fire with my dog resting on my knee and just chillin with a story.
    2. Being able to get round town on Monday and Asda today without having an anxiety attack
    3. Buying myself some new clothes
    4. Sharing a lovely veggi stew and dumplings cooked by my fab daughter with a really good friend.
    5. Starting painting again
    6. Celebrating my silver wedding anniversary with hubby. Cuddles on the sofa after a meal out with the family and when I went up to bed after he had gone home I found a card and a diamond and silver bracelet on my bedside table.

Good luck with the cleaner I am sure you will be fine and it will be nice to have the place cleaned for you. It took a couple of weeks for us to get used to our cleaner in September but now we are on top of things we just need to do a quick tidy up before she comes so she can see the floor to clean it! I just wish we were better at keeping it clean after she has gone!!
