    Question Flupentixol

    Hi

    Does anyone have any experience of this medication? My GP has prescribed it whilst I wait for something off mental health services? I've been on it for 2 days now and it's already lifted my mood slightly.

    I haven't heard of it, but Googling it tells me its a typical antipsychotic, which is probably why you are feeling benefits already.
    I take Quetiapine, an atypical antipsychotic, which also worked quickly to relieve symptoms.

    Thanks I've only had experience of it from a nursing perspective and in large IM doses for psychosis and schizophrenia. I was really worried about taking it but fingers crossed it's levelled me out for the time being.
