    Friday Fab 5's: 18th December 2015

It's the last Fab 5 before Christmas, so let's make it a good one!

What 5 things (or more or less) have made you smile or been positive for you this week?
Remember, it doesn't have to be huge things, it could be a nice coffee or seeing a daffodil.
Remember - no negativity allowed on this thread!

    Mine to get you started.
I need to do this exercise today as it's been a rollercoaster of a week!

~ Seeing F in her last Christmas concert at her primary school.
~ Our older 2 being recognised at school for being awesome and getting to go to the rewards celebrations yesterday.
~ Our middle one making it into the Aspire (Gifted and Talented) Programme at school for doing her "ted" style talk - which she did on disability. I can't tell you how proud I am.
~ Pulling together as a family dealing with some pretty crappy stuff.
~ My amazing friends here who have been there for me and made me smile.
~ Most definitely it being the last day of school today! Can't wait to start our Christmas!

    Your turn!

hmmm, having to dig deep today...

    forum friends that ooze awesomeness.
being able to spread a bit of Christmas cheer with distant friends
chatting with someone crazier than me at times and making me smile
still keeping up my challenge of getting out of the house at least once a day during a difficult anxiety riddled week
treating myself to breakfast out yesterday morning

We put the tree this week.
Aisling's beautiful carol service that made me cry, even though I promised I wouldn't.
Recovered from my sore back and feet after the party last week.
Got all the shopping done, and the wrapping is under way.
I was in great form all week thank goodness.
Just 7 more sleeps till Christmas.

    In no particular order.

~ Chatting with my sister on the phone.
~ The local schools concert, an outstanding performance.
~ Walking home from the concert down a long hill then along a tree lined road at 9:30pm, seeing all the Christmas lights in peoples gardens and front rooms was quite magical.
~ The over 60's Christmas dinner
~ Listening to Christmas carols on the radio.
70 and counting, less of the "Old" call me "Mike"

    Lovely memories, all of you!

    Here are mine:
    - Finished a set of boottop warmers for a lovely sister-in-law
    - Spending several nights just watching TV with my mom and talking
    - Good call for work yesterday to preview a presentation to an EVP next month, and great comments to make it better
    - Looking forward to a few days away on another trip to Oregon
    - Finally figuring out how to sleep with the heavy duvet my husband likes, but it is too heavy and uncomfortable for me
