    Friday Fab 5's: 11th December 2015

    So it's Friday and time for the Fab 5's! What 5 (or more or less) things have been positive for you or made you smile this week?
    Remember, no negativity please or it will be removed.

    Mine to get you started:

    It's been a tough week, so this is really important for me to do this week.

    ~ Seeing our eldest in a husky hat!
    ~ Our eldest being made a prefect!
    ~ Hugs and snuggles with our youngest.
    ~ Seeing H be thrilled with her stunning report.
    ~ Marc being there for me this week when I've really needed it.
    ~ The awesome team here who have been there and propped me up. Thank you all.

    Your turn!

    - finishing my Christmas shopping
    - my amazing daughter creating a beautiful piece of art in about 1 hour, with a canvas and wall paint, for my kitchen
    - watching Die Hard and appreciating, yet again, the genius that is Alan Rickman

    A good week for me this week.
    1. The Christmas party was a great success and almost everyone got a prize.
    2. I won the Christmas cake.
    3. Making table arrangements for the Christmas (and people wanting to buy them!)
    4. Keeping my mind very busy all week.
    5. Sent my Christmas cards and even got some back.
    6. Forgot a lot of people on my list but remembered them now (and not Christmas day like I normally do)
    7. Finishing my exams on my computer course.
    8. Just have that Christmas spirit and would love it if I could pass it to everyone here.

    Until next week cheers!

    A couple of big ones for me this week.

    1. Seeing my sister for the first time in 2 years and meeting her boyfriend properly. Getting on well with her and rebuilding our bond. We even put our parents Christmas tree up together! I have missed it a lot.
    2. Finding someone who genuinely cares for me and only wants to make me happy. He is there for me when I feel low, reassures me when I need it, no questions asked, and always tells me he finds me beautiful. And he values my mind. People have tried to put doubts in my head but he is putting a lot of effort in for very little in return. He has even offered to be my knight in shining armour and battle my dark thoughts for me when I don't feel strong enough to. It's not every day you meet someone like that.
    3. My best friend. I know he is there whenever I need him to be. He will kick my arse if I need it and protect me with every breath in his body if necessary.
    4. Harry Potter
    5. Music

    ~ My new bathroom is finished
    ~ Having a shower (instead of a bath) for the first time in weeks
    ~ My sitting room is all back in the right place
    ~ Getting a new TV remote (where the old one went is a mystery)
    ~ First appointment with the psychologist who will hopefully help me tackle my OCD
    ~ MIL's Christmas Carol concert
    ~ Cyclamen in bloom, and my pink Hygrangea has started to flower again (not normal for December?)
    ~ Did some writing on my novels
    ~ OCD is actually a bit better this week (phew)
    ~ Had a couple of shorts walks and said hello to the ducks at my local park
    ~ Done a lot of washing, getting back on track with housework
    ~ My lovely supportive friends here
    ~ Managing to find positives despite things being very tough right now

    It's hard again, but I give it a try:
    - My difficult translation has gone faster, hope I'll finish it by next week;
    - Metting and communicating with new pleasant clients, who thanked me for my services;
    - Metting new nice people online;
    - Did some walking;
    - Feeling the spirit of Christmas.
