    Fab 5's: Friday 11th September 2015

On a day like today I think this thread is more important than normal..

What 5 (or more or less) things have made you smile/been happy for you this week? Remember it doesn't have to be a big thing, just something to make you smile..

    Mine to get you started:

~ School sorting an issue for H.
    ~ Laughing with M
~ Feeling wanted and cared about
~ A step closer to something lovely
    ~ Spending 1:1 time with F

    Your turn!

Survived Taekwondo class...first serious bit of exercise in a long time.
Enjoyed a KFC. Not had it in ages.
    Got my medication sorted
Almost half way through my sober challenge and still going strong.
    Survived another hard week.

I got up every day this week.
We are settling into school routine.
    I finished the cushion.
I've got a wedding today, and I feel up to going.

Starting to get on top of the housework.
    Going to my appointment
Sending off the paperwork for the mirtazapine trial instead of avoiding it.
Had the energy to dye my hair
Went for a piercing I've wanted for years without panicking and worrying about what people will say.

    Ok, here's mind

    - despite anxiety, went to an assessment to volunteer, working from home, at the Citizens Advice Bureau
    - got selected for the job
    - 14 yo cat was deemed exceptionally healthy by the vet
    - 10 yo dog (who wasn't supposed to live past 6 yo) was also given a clean bill of health
    - SCD Launch show
