A little better, but the main changes don't take effect till September. He won't fight back, no matter how much we have told him to although will just flip like a light switch at home. He is getting better and we have a consultants appointment on the 30th and will see what they suggest then..
Thanks for asking hunni

sorry Ive only just picked up on this thread but reading about your boy remimded me of something which you and others may/not find helpful
The Author Nick Hornbywrote a book "speaking with the Angel2 to raise money for TREEHOUSE which is an organisation that helps autistic children its NOT about autism its a selection of short stories put together to raise money
BUT what I wanted to mention is that ther is an intro in the book that may interestand there is a form at the back of the book which you can fill in to get info about TREEHOUSE you may/not have already heard of it being in that area of the country. I will google it and see if I can find the web address for you

ok hope you find it useful they are apparently very good at what they do-Nick Hornby has an autistic son whose life was turned round dramatically by the foundation He tells a brief story of it at the front of that book

They do seem to know what they are talking about which is impressive.. We had a consultants appointment yesterday which was really positive, he is referring Ben to CAHMS and if that doesn't help then he won't rule out medication - although that's really not what we want, but won't rule it out itms?
