That looks really good MH, you clever lady.
If she was really clever I'd have a blanket. *sulks*

You live in Exeter? Lovely place. I got lost there once. I feel like I should get my jumped up and running again... It's hard when you finish one section and have to start a whole new bit. I would like to have it done before university and then take up crocheting away - I presume it's not as much stuff to carry around - with me. No way will I get it done in time. *wonders about courses again* >.< Darn, vet course.

I must tell my friend about that. She lives somewhere in Cornwall and is a crafty person- she's working on making her own artsy business. She'll love that. I've done one more bit of my jumper so I have two bits left! ^_^ I have to do the rib border thingme on one side (which takes forever -_- I am terrible at picking up stitches and it's a stupid number too. >.<) and then I have to sew the pockets on and I'll be done! *tired fingers*

Abi's cardi is travelling round in the car and being worked on in dr's waiting rooms and other places. I am making christening invitations and have started knitting bags to go with Christmas presents this year. Will bung photo's up as soon as I have some.

really easy tote pattern that can be felted if you want too.
Grab some 5 - 5.5mm needled, cast on 108 stitches work in st st till work measures 30cm cast off. for the strap Cast on 10 stitches and knit till measures 120cm cast off. to make up fold main part in half rs in and sew bottom and side seam, sew straps into corners then turn it the right way round. If you want to felt them pop in the washing machine on a 40 degree wash with a towel then pin out flat and air dry.
I am doing a mix of bags have a couple of other patterns that I can give you if you want. I am just using odd balls of wool I have left from other projects so mine are going to be multi coloured and probably not felted as I have a lot of synthetic materials rather than natural wool.

st st = stocking stitch which is purl on one side, knit on the other. So you have the neat outside (like any jumper you have) and a dirty inside. Dirty inside! I owe you jumper photographs. Later today. Promise.
