We cannot replace professional care and advocate that all members are in regular contact with their GP and are referred and attend any other professional appointments which is deemed necessary by those who are trained in mental health. No medication should be changed on the suggestions of any other member. Any medication should only be altered by a medical professional.
It is important to remember that although there are Moderators and Admin, we are volunteers who cannot be online 24 hours a day (although we try). The posts are the opinions of the author and not of Dealing with Depression, it's staff or the owner. If anyone finds a message which they feel is not appropriate or objectionable they are asked to report the post to the Mod and Admin Team using the report function. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.
