serious feedback required though please..

1) is it useful now and again?
2) is it in the style that you like?
3) is there anything else you would like to see in it?
4) is it formal enough? not formal enough?
5) anything else??

please remember that it isnt necessarily aimed at the very very regular posters, but should also remind people that we are here! LOL

1) is it useful now and again?

Yes, even though I'm on here all time time it's nice to connect with it as a real thing, that makes no sense I know, but essentially yes! and if I can think of better way of putting that I'll edit!

2) is it in the style that you like?

Yes, although I would also be happy if it came into my inbox like that rather than clicking on the link to get to it.

3) is there anything else you would like to see in it?

oooh tricky question, planned updates to the site? Although I figure that is rarely going to be relevant, er, I'll keep thinking!

4) is it formal enough? not formal enough?

For me, (and this is not a criticism, just an observation) it's seems quite formal, but then I'm here all the time it seems out of place for what I'm used to from here (since I'm used to the very conversational tone we all use). I don't think that would be appropriate for the newsletter as it's encouraging people in, therefore it uses the right balance of conversational and formal. (Does that make sense?)

5) anything else??

It was hard enough to come up with that! I like it, it was nice to connect with dwd when I wasn't expecting it. Nope, still can't explain it! Oh well, you'll just have to guess what I'm going on about!

Yayyyy got mine and when I read the praise for myself losing a stone it brought a tear to my eye ( just really emotional at the mo).
For me the newsletter is fab my only suggestion is it could do with brightening up with maybe some cheery cartoons.

got mine, can't really add much to what people said already. it's a great idea, well done.

I agree, it would be better if it arrived in full in peoples inbox, and it would also be nice to add somewhere something like this maybe?

"share this with people you know to encourage them to join us"

1) is it useful now and again?

Well, maybe not useful in it's current form past the initial read. Maybe include some additional links to helpful sites: both depression-related and just fun for an escape.

2) is it in the style that you like?

I did enjoy it. It was a good read.

3) is there anything else you would like to see in it?

Other than links above, maybe a "dealing with" hint gleaned from the previous month's posts. A gem from the recipe thread?

4) is it formal enough? not formal enough?

It was a little formal considering our community; however, if the newsletter will be/is going to less-active posters, it might be alright.

5) anything else??

Can't really think of anything right now. Thanks for putting the time and effort into it. :kissykiss:
