hunni, have a look here (http://gwydir.demon.co.uk/jo/lace/stitches.htm) as it has pretty clear diagrams, and some of them move!! LOL

Ohh no Suzi thats terrible I would be gutted too. I only have cheap plastic bobbins atm but wouldn't want to lose any. I am going to start getting some wooden ones so will probably go with a bobbin a month type scheme. Lots of web ites are offering this service, you give them a max spend amount and each month they send you bobbins to that amount till you tell them thats it I have enough thank you.

Mention it often enough and maybe santa will send you a few bobbins and spangles.

its just heartbreaking as some of my favs (ok they werent the "best" ones) were hand turned for me by my best friend at the time who died and who ben is named after...

never mind, will have to gt over it and move on...

Bless not an easy one to get over hunni. Why don't parents ask before doing things like that?

ooh yes please. I will then grill you mercilessly about what to do.

How about if we try doing a piece together as it were, chose something simple, send it over and we can sit and work on it together and try to help each other if we get stuck?
