:Hello2:finally got chance to go on the computer!!
feeling fed up at the mo,i used to really enjoy the summer holls but now meg is getting older and doing her own thing i'm feeling redundant.Had a fall out with my husband too because i got really stressy about taking the car to be repaired(PATHETIC I KNOW) woke up in the middle of the night in a panic about it.i havn't slept properly for weeks now and it's driving me nuts! made up with simon but i still feel bad and stupid.I've worried him too because i had quite bad palpatations which made me feel really dizzy,i've promised to go to the doctors.
thought i'd try and occupy myself with a bit if baking and just succeeded in filling my kitchen with smoke as my pie exploded! damn, damn, damn,DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's better neede to have a moan sorry.:blusingandshy:

:Hello2:lizzie thanks for that i thought it was just me being silly.i just love being a mum so much but i do realise when they grow up they get more independant and need their space,it's just getting used to that.
your photo of you kids looks lovely, they all look happy.
Hope you are feeling better and managed to get some sleep and rest, insomnia is horrendous!! i get it often,i can fall asleep on the sofa at night then as soon as i go up to bed it feels like a switch clicks on that i just can't switch off.it's a complete pain in the arris isn't it as well as distressing.take care. xx(((((hugs))))))

Ok, I don't know a recipe myself (although my friend did a fantastic one in a slow cooker and gave us some for Christmas last year, I'm dribbling at the thought! Anyway....) I searched MSE (moneysaving expert forums) and the BBC and came up with

Banoffee Curd (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=395239&highlight=lemon+curd)

BBC lemon curd (http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/lemoncurd_460.shtml)

Hope that helps :-)
