Following on from Vickeys 'names 2 faces' thread I thought I'd start up a thread of pics of where we live.
It would be nice to see where you all are in the world so come on and add your fave pic of where you live.
Here is mine, the houses in the background are my estate and the hills are 'flaty & pointy' named by the kids at the local school.

Prize for whoever guesses where it is..... (and no cheating looking at the names of the pics!)

Where do you live now Emmie?
I'm only 20 mins from Haworth and I love it:icon_biggrin:
It's such a 'quaint' place to go and there are some great walks around there:icon_biggrin:
This is the view from my bedroom window (with a bit of zoom)

MG, Lyndisfarne? The Island looks like Lyndisfarne anyway! That's the best I can up with and I highly suspect I'm miles off! Himself guesses St Michael's Mount but says he'd rather not have the hug if he wins! Oh and I'm halfway between Liverpool and Manchester (good for shopping!) at the moment, not really liking it so I try to pretend I'm not really here, I'm on the wrong side of the Pennines! *wail* I grew up in Keighley though which I suspect is very near where you are now! Small world!
Bunny, you live somewhere posh! *wild guessing* Winchester?
Lizzie, that park looks gorgeous! Is all you house as well, it's huge! It looks really nice as well :-) Lizzie just read your other post... so yes, it is one house, crikey!
And Ali, seriously your dog gets cuter, I like the sand on the snout look! And I'd love to live that close to the beach!

Suzi that looks like a lovely place to grow up in.
Here is where I grew up and as much as I love living in Cornwall I do miss the hustle and bustle. Everone is so laid back in Cornwall.

We went to the Isle of Man for our Honeymoon.
Perfect timing for Rally Isle of Man too but the wife likes motorsport too:clapping:
Would love to go back. I don't fly and I don't sail well but IOM is worth the anxiety:blusingandshy:
We were so relaxed when there. There is some great scenery and the seal/shark viewing is GREAT.
I'd love to go back but at the minute finances don't help:icon_cry:

It's Gosport, Hants (near Postsmouth - hence spinnaker tower in background) - aka - the arse end of nowhere. Though we do live in the good bit if anyone's read in the news about the slum like area in Gosport.
Not taking pic of house as it's raining and my front Garden is full of weeds!

PS. Am geographically challenged so y'all might as well have said you live in Mars - must consult a map.....lovely abodes BTW!

Quiet enough - we're not on a main road or anything, and MOST on the neighbours are consciencious - apart from the ones next door that like to row at 10000 decibels!
